The
company is based in the greater Philadelphia area. Our research lab and offices
are located at the state-of-the-art, 120,000 ft2 biotechnology
incubator facility at the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center (PABIO) in Doylestown, PA. PABIO
is a nonprofit research institute housing a number of nonprofit research
organizations including the Hepatitis B
Foundation and its research institute, the Institute
for Hepatitis and Virus Research, Drexel Institute for Biotechnology
and Virology Research of Drexel University, and Ben Franklin Technology Partners of
Southeastern Pennsylvania, and over 30 commercial companies at various
stages of development. As a member of the PABIO
community, we have free access to fully operational and modern core research
facilities, excellent administrative services, fully-wired conference and
meeting rooms, and diverse scientific knowledge and expertise offered by over
200 full-time scientists working at the Center. This association allows us keep
our capital equipment and overhead costs at a minimum and brings us
opportunities to engage in multidisciplinary research activities and
partnerships within the PABIO community.
